Washington, DC – 1 September 2010 –
BKH, LLC (BKH), has teamed with PA&E Global, a Maryland based, Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO) organization and several other IT related entities in response to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) TRANSFORMATION TWENTY-ONE TOTAL TECHNOLOGY (T4) solicitation. Proposals were submitted at the end of August 2010 to the VA.
The goal of the solicitation is to provide technical, systems engineering and other solutions encompassing a broad range of IT requirements by engaging industry partners to support the VA in delivering high-quality IT solutions and services that meet the VA’s needs for mission support and IT infrastructure transformation, as well as IT support requirements of other Federal Agencies, and potentially state and local governments. Further, this solicitation had to be primed by Veteran Owned or SDVO businesses.
“BKH is honored to have been included on the PA&E team,” said Barb Ferneyhough, BKH’s President and Managing Director. “PA&E recognized the value add that BKH brings to the table in program and financial management, and allowed us the opportunity to demonstrate our superior capabilities to the VA in this area.”
“We played an integral part in preparing sample task orders as part of the proposal submission and providing several key financial, other technical and administrative labor category support functions. We are optimistic and look forward to a contract award as well as confident in our ability to support this effort,” said Bob Greco, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director.
Conveniently located in the DC, metropolitan area, BKH is a woman-owned, small business that specializes in providing financial, business management and consulting services to the government and to government contractors.
